The Butterfly Award Ceremony is a unique event that recognizes five NYC Public High School seniors who have been active in raising HIV/AIDS awareness among their peers through innovative projects in their community. Created to carry on the legacy of Wayne Fischer, the Butterfly Award Ceremony is intended to recognize and support the effective role youth play in raising HIV/AIDS awareness in NYC.
